William Brighty Rands
William Brighty Rands (1823-1882) was an English poet who is best known for his children's poetry. His most famous works include "The Discontented Pendulum" and "The Song of the Seven." Rands was also a journalist and editor, and he was a regular contributor to many of the leading literary magazines of the Victorian era.
